“LLLinkages”
Owners of LLLinked squares are linked to other owners in different ways. Owners are linked:
By origin and end
Each square has its own origin point — the point which the geometric shapes of LLLinked grow from. Those shapes travel and end in other squares. Every square is linked to the squares that contain the geometric shapes from its origin point. Because the shape created from every origin point is organic and varies in shape and size, the number of people linked in this way varies.
Example: the owners of square P2P2 are linked to the owners of squares P2P3, P3P3, P3P2, P2P1 and P3P1.
By links
The geometric shapes from every origin point are linked together at a limited number of points. Square owners are linked to the square owners that their connected shapes link with (Example A). Square owners are also linked to the square owners that contain their link points (Example B). The number of people linked in this way varies.
Example A: the shape created from the P2P2 origin point has six links. The owners of square P2P2 are linked with the owners of squares P1P2, P2P3, P3P3, P3P2 (two times), and P3P1.
Example B: the shapes created from the P1P2 and P2P1 origin points are linked on the square P2P2. The owners of squares P1P2 and P2P1 are linked with the owners of square P2P2.
By print number
The prints of LLLinked are printed by the sheet and then cut into twelve squares. Therefore, the 12 square owners who own a particular print number of a sheet own the exact same piece of paper it was printed on. And because each sheet is cut by hand and therefore imperfect and unique, these 12 squares are the only squares that link perfectly together, right down to the paper fibers.
Example: the owners of Print No. 52/99 of Sheet No. 1 are linked to one another.
